Bexley Mayor's Charity Appeal
Bexley NAS are delighted to announce that the Mayor of Bexley Councillor Brian Bishop has chosen to support Bexley NAS (along with Bexley MIND) as part of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal for the coming year (2018/2019).
Juliett and Janet went along to meet him at the Council Civic Centre, then on for a service in the church at Bexleyheath.
Councillor Brian Bishop was elected the Mayor of the London Borough of Bexley on the 23rd May at the Council’s annual meeting. His wife, Councillor Christine Bishop, serves with him as Mayoress.
Brian is keen to support those in the borough who suffer with mental health issues and children with Autism. His charity appeal this year will raise funds for residents affected by such difficulties.
