​Connect to Work
is a 
a work programme in England and Wales to help disabled people, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment, to find sustainable work.
​

In 2021 a new initiative was brought in to support those with Autism to secure and maintain employment. Please click on the link to find out more. ​New government support package to help more disabled people into work - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Reinstate, based in Erith, offer support for those on the Autistic Spectrum in the area of Employment - please click on the link to go to their website for more/up to date information on their offer.  The Employment Service | Re-Instate
Works 4 Me 
Can offer help with:
  • one to one job search support  
  • Advice around finding and retaining work
  •  Access to employability workshops and support with interviews
  • In-work support when you start your new job
To be eligible for this programme of support, you must:
  • Be a Bexley resident aged 18+
  • Have a diagnosis of ASD
  • be committed to finding and retaining paid work, or;
  • Already be in paid work and need support to stay in your role

Jobcentre Plus provides a range of services to link jobseekers to employers and help with claiming benefits for those who need them. It offers practical help to those seeking jobs, and administers programmes to help unemployed people back to work. It provides support for those who are long-term sick or disabled, including benefits and help in finding work.
There is a JobcentrePlus at Westminster House, Bexleyheath.
