Bexley's Local Offer 
Bexley's 'One Stop Shop' for all your SEND age 0-25 needs. 
The local offer provides information for children and young people with special educational needs (SEND) and their parents or carers in a single place including:
  • special educational provision 
  • health and well being provision
  • social care provision
  • other educational provision
  • preparing for adulthood 
The purpose of the local offer is to enable parents and young people to see more clearly what services are available in their area and how to access them. The offer will include provision from birth to 25, across education, health and social care and should be developed in conjunction with children and young people, parents and carers, and local services, including schools, colleges, health and social care agencies.

BEXLEY VOICE
Bexley Voice are a group of voluntary parents and carers of children and young people age 0-25, with disabilities and/or special needs who live in Bexley, Kent. 
Offering membership, parent group (Tea & Talk), focus groups, workshops, seminars and an opportunity to have your voice heard in the planning of Bexley SEND services.

BRIDGE TO INDEPENDENCE
An exciting project supporting young people age 16-25 with ASD and/or ADHD.

Support with gaining confidence and skills to get into studying or work and making choices about your future.
One-to-work, group work and courses available.

You can join:
  • If you are aged 16-25 years old 
  • If you have an Autistic Spectrum Condition or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • If you want support to find work or training

Offering clubs and activities, use of the hydro-pool and sensory room.

BRIDGING THE GAP
​

BTGSE is a local organisation which aims to support adults with autism.  There is a social group held in the Carlton Centre, Sidcup between 20:00 to 22:00 on the second Wednesday of each month and a general parent/carer/autistic person session on the last Wednesday at the month.

A Not For Profit Community Interest Company providing an holistic approach to a range of healthcare and education services with a wide theme of animals, wildlife, nature, bush craft, forest school & outdoor activities, one-to-one animal therapy to help with stress and holiday/after school clubs.
