We are often contacted by students asking for volunteers to assist with thier research ....
Rather than forwarding every email to our membership, we will list them here and those who wish to get involved can.
Please note - we have not vetted and are not promoting these requests, simply making them available - you will need to satisfy yourselves that it is safe and appropriate for you or your family to respond/get involved.

Hi,
My name is Joanne and I am a Masters student at the London College of Fashion, studying Fashion Retail Management. I came across your contact information through the NAS’ webpage and was wondering if it would be possible to connect with some potential research participants through the Bexley branch's parent/support group. I have already been in contact with the NAS’ Head of Research, who has circulated my recruitment request to select branches. (I have also committed sharing my findings with the organization following the completion of my study.)
Unfortunately, I have not yet received any responses from the organization’s members, so if it won’t be a bother to your group members, I would be very appreciative if you would be able to circulate (via Facebook pages or email lists, etc) my study information and contact details on my behalf once more. (I only require a few respondents!)
To provide you with a brief overview—I am currently doing a dissertation on the customer experience of parents/carers with autistic children in a physical fashion retail setting. I am specifically interested in hearing about what elements of a clothing store have impacted autistic children and their parents while out shopping—how can these establishments become more inclusive of this population? For my primary research, I am looking to conduct online interviews with parents/carers of autistic children who have shopped in an apparel store (accompanied by their child) within the last year.
I have attached here an flyer with my contact information and a few more details regarding the study. Please let me know if you need any more information!
Thank you for your time.
Best,
Joanne Shin

Hi,
My name is Carmen and I am currently a masters student at SDSU. I had the pleasure of being part of a course designed to bring disability awareness to campus. Needless to say I was inspired, and I was given the opportunity to write an article about a topic that isn't discussed often titled "Learning To Drive With Autism". I spent weeks researching and writing and it's finally finished.
I noticed that you have a page on your website here where the article would be a good fit. I know I'm asking for a favor but if you could please check out my article and link to it, it would mean a lot to me. I want to keep educating individuals about autism, but I'm a bit unmotivated when it's not getting any eyeballs.
This is the link to my article on driving with Autism. If you could share it on your website it would be truly appreciated.
